“Turkish Rheumatology Congress with International Attendance” will be held conjointly by the Istanbul and Sivas Branches of the Turkish League Against Rheumatism (TLAR) on March 20 - 24, 2019 at the Regnum Carya Hotel in Antalya - Turkey.

In our congress where the current diagnostic, therapeutic and practical applications in rheumatic diseases will be discussed in detail, we will also cover topics related to the current practical and theoretical aspects to help us in our daily practice and the complementary medicine applications to rheumatical patients in addition to the academical approach to be presented by the renowned international and national academicians.

Our program will provide you a multiple approach in rheumatology by the contribution of the several perspectives and assessment of the different disciplines with the awareness that the multidisciplinary approach to rheumatic diseases is very important for the correct diagnosis and treatment of the disease.

Our congress aiming to have several scientific discussions and interactive participation will be held in 5 days, with the pre-congress courses and practical workshops in the first day, followed by the oral presentations and scientific sessions in the following days.

The congress center is 25 minutes away from Antalya Airport.

Exhibition
A large area has been set aside for the exhibition of the pharmaceutical and medical companies as well as book publishers. Congress registration is a must in order to visit the exhibition area which will be open on all congress days.

Letter of Invitation
Upon request, a letter of invitation will be sent to any registered participants. This letter will be sent solely to assist participants in obtaining leave from their institutions.

Name Badges
Name badges must be worn to enter scientific sessions, exhibition areas and all social activities by each participant, accompanying person and industry representative.

Certificate of Participation
Certificate of participation will be given to the all registered participants at the last day of the congress from the congress registration desk.

Airport Transportation
Airport transportations will be provided for the participants who notify the organizing secretariat of their flight information. The one-way transportation fee between the airport and hotel is 200 TL + VAT 18%. The aim of this award is to show appreciation for the effort shown by colleagues in their research and to encourage young colleagues to undertake new research.
The following criteria will be considered in the assessment.

  • The summary should be appropriately formatted.
  • The title of the research should reflect the content.
  • Abstract should be new, original and have a scientific.
  • Abstracts should be prospective, be part of a project and supported by a sufficient number of cases.
  • Statistics should be analyzed correctly.
  • The topic should be dealt with in detail.

Medical Video Awards

The aim of this competition is to encourage the researcher to work on this subject by featuring the educational side of video recordings which are very important for the transfer of information and experiences.
The following criteria will be considered in the assessment.

  • The sound quality of the video has to be good.
  • The images on the main aim of the video should be in the foreground.
  • The video quality should be good.
  • The video should show the practice of a new and original idea.
  • The video should be educational and arouse the desire in the viewer to watch it again.
  • The video should show a complication or a rehabilitation of an rheumatologic situation.
  • The video should determine the utilization of a new device
  • The video should focus attention on the most common mistakes and complications experienced from their own country

TLAR Young Researcher Incentive Award

Objective and Scope
Article 1: The aim and scope of this directive includes the procedures and principles regarding the award of professional activities of Tlar member specialists who are in the field of FTR/Rheumatology in our country.

Application Requirements

Article 2: This award is given to scientists who contribute to the science of Rheumatology by scientific research that has not passed the age of 40 and have the potential to contribute to the universal level in the future.

Article 3: Candidates are required to have a H - index of 5 and above. Applications may be personal or nominated by members and working groups. The documents that including the curriculum vitae, publication list and scientific projects should be sent to TLAR Head Office in one file and 5 CD format.

Article 4: Only scientists who is alive can be nominated as a candidate for the young researcher incentive award. After winning the award, the award of the scientist who leave us is given to the legal heirs.

Article 5: The nomination or application period expires on the last day of January of each year.

Evaluation

Article 6: All references are evaluated by TLAR Scientific Advisory Board

Article 7: The amount of the monetary award will be determined by board of directors every year. The award is given to one person for each year. If the eligible candidate does not exit, the award may not be given.

Article 8: The award-winning scientist is awarded with a plaque and a certificate of honor. The award is presented at the opening ceremony of the congress.

PRESENTATION INFORMATION

Instructions for Preparing Posters
Instructions for accepted abstracts for poster presentations. Posters must be 70 cm wide and 90 cm high and should be designed to be legible from at least one meter away. The date, place and number of the stands where posters will be exhibited shall be announced by the organizing committee. Posters shall be affixed by sticky putty, and no other material shall be allowed. Assistance will be provided to the presenters in hanging their posters

Please consider these instructions below when preparing your Open Communication slides;

- Do not use more than 7 lines in one slide,
- Do not have more than 6 words in each line,
- Prepare your slides horizontally,
- Do not include huge tables which will cause difficulty in following the outcomes,
